Description:
The Back-Up device was specifically designed as a mobile fall arrestor, for use in rope access, fall arrest and work positioning. This device will run freely up and down the rope until a sudden jerk will activate the stopping and locking mechanism. For rope access applications the device has a half-lock capability that allows the device to be positioned where required.
For work restraint and work positioning, the device has a full lock function that will keep the device locked in one place.
